What is Verse?
VerseRP is an AI character chat and roleplay platform. Discover community characters, create your own, and explore stories through conversation.
What is AI roleplay chat?
AI roleplay chat lets you write a conversation with an AI character, playing out stories, relationships, and scenarios. You can choose a character and use a persona of your own.
Do Verse characters remember past conversations?
Your saved chat history lets you return to an ongoing conversation. How much earlier context an AI response can use depends on the model and its memory features. AI can miss or misremember details, so perfect recall is not guaranteed.
How is Verse different from other AI roleplay and character chat apps?
Verse brings character discovery, custom characters, personas, and ongoing chats together on the web and Android. Different AI models offer different ways to shape your conversations.
Is Verse free?
Yes. You can start with Verse Free. Free users receive 50 successful Verse Echo replies per UTC day. See our pricing page for current model allowances and optional Premium features.
What is Verse Premium?

Is my chat private? Do you train AI on my conversations?
Your conversations belong to you. Verse does not sell your conversations or use them to train its own AI models. To provide the service, Verse uses a mix of its own infrastructure and third-party providers for AI response generation, memory, translation, and moderation - content sent to a provider for these purposes is handled under that provider’s own data terms.
Can I create my own characters?
Yes. Verse has a creator ecosystem - you can publish your own roleplay characters and worlds, or discover originals made by other creators in the community.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Verse has an official Android app alongside the web app, so your characters and story stay with you across devices. You can download it directly from Verse.

Is Verse safe, and what are the age requirements?
Verse is built for storytelling and roleplay with safety safeguards and user controls. You must meet the minimum age requirements in your jurisdiction, and some content may involve mature themes that are not appropriate for minors.
